A peer-reviewed journal is one that publishes articles which have been reviewed and approved by a group of experts in the field.

To check if a journal is peer reviewed, use Ulrichsweb, which is accessible from the Databases A-Z list on the Library home page.

This video describes scholarly/peer-reviewed journals, and why you should use them in your assignments.
