This depends on the details in the copyright transfer agreement you would have signed with the publisher. Some publishers will allow articles to be included in theses when uploaded to an institutional repository (like Curtin’s espace), subject to certain conditions. For example, you might only be able to include the submitted version of your manuscript rather than the published version; you may be required to include a specific acknowledgement or statement in your thesis; or you may only be permitted to include it after a specific time period (referred to as an ‘embargo’).
