Medical dictionaries are a useful source to consult for definitions of medical conditions and diseases. Black's Medical Dictionary and the Concise Medical Dictionary are two examples but many others are available via the Curtin Library catalogue.
General textbooks on a condition or disease can also be consulted for definitions and background information. The Foundations of Professional Health Practice 100 LibGuide provides guidance on searching the Library catalogue for books on a particular medical condition.
