QR (Quick Response) codes are a special type of barcode which hold encoded information like text and links to the Internet. You need to have a QR code reader or app on your mobile device in order to use them. QR code readers will either be included in your device's software or will need to be downloaded from the Internet.

To use a QR code you will need to open the QR code reader on your device and scan the code. The application will recognise the code and take you to a link or provide relevant information.
