You can use your subject LibGuide to find the most useful databases for your assignment.

From the LibGuide home page select your Faculty from the tabs at the top of the page. You can then select your subject guide from the list that appears. Look for the tab marked Databases, or Search/Finding Journal articles (the tab name will vary with the Faculty). This tab contains a list of databases you can search.

Another source of journal articles is the Library catalogue. When you search the Library catalogue you will see journal articles as well as books in your results list.

You can also use the Find a Database tab in the library catalogue - just enter broad keywords, then, using the Refine My Results option on the left of the results screen, limit the results to your school, faculty or subject area, or using the dropdown menu in the box select "anywhere in the record" to select databases in your research area.

This video, tells you about databases and shows you where to find them in the Library's website.
